How To Turn Your Research Into A Business Strategy |
Article:
Because of the importance of this information, and the
length of it, I have decided to split this article into two
parts.
Research is the key to creating a business, or taking an
existing business to the next logical level.
When you begin researching, you are looking for ideas.
The
problem is...
...when people come up with great ideas, they rarely ever
see them through.
Sound familiar?
I reckon we all have potentially HUGE ideas that, if
implemented properly, would make us all a fortune.
So, why can't we get over that barrier?
What stops us from following through on our ideas?
To find out 'WHY', lets begin at the start. Lets walk
through the strategy, step-by-step, to the point of coming
up with an idea. Then... lets breakdown that very point
where people don't implement their idea, and why. And we'll
look at how to get over the problem...
The Strategy:
1. Decide what you like to do.
What interests you?
Or, what are you passionate about?
Write you answers on a note pad. You may have only one
answer, or you may have many. It doesn't really matter.
2. I want you to review what you have written. If you have
more than one answer, then prioritize them... from '1'
to '10'... '1' being the most important and '10' being
the least important.
3. Focus on the topic you have given most priority to. Then,
expand on your idea as much as possible. If it takes you
half a page to do it... fine. If it takes the whole note
pad to do it... that's fine too!
4. Now ask yourself..."Can I make this work?"
Now... Lets STOP Right There!
Here we are. This is the point where it all falls apart.
This is where ALL the problems arise. You realize that your
idea is possible. Maybe you can even see yourself doing it.
But, something's holding you back!
Something inside your head is telling you that YOU can't do
this. It's saying that YOU don't have the ability to do
this. And that YOU don't have what it takes to get this idea
up and running.
You begin to believe what your head is telling you. It's
telling you that for you to carry out your idea, is not a
logical thing to do.
You say to yourself... "I can't do this".
You create excuse after excuse. Such as..."You need money to make money" or "I'm not the type to be
successful" or "I was born poor, so I will never amount to
anything"... and so it goes!
Truth is...
EVERYBODY is the type to be successful, regardless of your
background... if everybody chooses to be.
Choose not to be successful......and that's exactly what you get.
Right, what you need to know is..."How do you get over this problem?"
This is important because, when you find yourself in that
situation -- it's FRIGHTENING!
Yes, that's right - Frightening!
How?
Because you see the possibility of how your idea can work.
At some level, YOU KNOW it will work. You may even be
excited at the thoughts of how great, and powerful, your
idea really is.
But......and it's a big BUT...
You look for excuses not to do it. You subconsciously set
about sabotaging any hope of ever breathing life into it.
Hell, you feel you don't even deserve it. The idea dies...
AND so does a part of you.
Don't lose hope. There is a solution to this. There is a
way of overcoming this fear. I know you want the answer now.
I know how important it is to you. But, I want you to
understand the reasons for most people never following
through on their ideas... their DREAMS!
Therefore, before sending you out part two, please re-read
this again. And again, if necessary, to see if you were everin this situation.
Chances are, you were at some time or other. Maybe you have
been there many times before.
But, no matter whatever else you do, read this again. |
